Privacy
What Find Your Verse stores, why, and what we never do with your data.
Without an account
Saved verses, recent pages and reading preferences stay on your device. Your preferred translation is kept in a small cookie so pages load in it.
With an account
Signing in with Google is optional. If you do, we store your saved verses, collections, reading goals and progress, notes, topic interests, reminder settings and (if you leave it on) your recent searches, so they follow you between devices. Only you can read them. You can delete all of it from your account page.
Searches and visits
Searches and page visits are counted on our server to improve results and find missing content. We don't store IP addresses or browser details; visits are grouped by a code that changes every day and can't identify you.
Emails are opt-in only, and none are sent yet. Every email will contain a one-click unsubscribe link.
Advertising
Find Your Verse may show a small number of clearly labelled ads on longer articles (never inside scripture, search answers, Today or reading). When ads are switched on, the ad provider (Google AdSense) may use cookies to measure and personalise ads; where the law requires it, we will ask for consent first. Ads are currently off.
Affiliate links
Some resource links may be affiliate links. When you click one we count the click (which resource and which page) without identifying you.
What we never do
We never sell your data — including searches, reading history, saved verses, collections, interests, goals or email activity.
